Educational Qualification: Candidates who want to apply against non teaching jobs Mumbai university they must have SSC, ITI, Typing, Stenography, Degree in Sound Recording, Master’s Degree in relevant subject, MS-CIT, B.Sc (Statistics), Certificate Course in Library Science from repute University/ institute/ college. 

Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 years to 33 years as on 28 March 2013. Relaxation will apply as per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidate’s selection will depend on the basis of written test and then personnel interview performance. 

Application Fee: General and OBC Candidates have to pay Rs.400 + 50/- for Sr. No. 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14 posts & Rs.450 + 50/- for Sr. No. 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 posts, SC/ ST Candidates have to pay Rs.200 + 50/- for Sr. No. 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14 posts & Rs.250 + 50/- for Sr. No. 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 posts as examination fee in the form of challan from any of the branches of SBI from 28 March 2013 to 16 April 2013.

SSC Engg Asst & Technician Syllabus Details


Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruits Engineering Assistant & Technician Vacancies on behalf of the Prasar Bharati under special dispensation given by the Government. The following are the syllabus details to apply.

Syllabus:

Paper I

A. General Intelligence & Reasoning: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/ pattern –folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/ roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/ numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other sub-topics, if any.

B. General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity & Scientific Research.

C. Technical Knowledge: The questions will be of degree level in Physics/ Diploma level in the concerned subject.

Paper – II : The questions will be of Degree level in Physics/ Diploma level in concerned subject.


SBI PO Syllabus
